Approved/Rejected/Pending Loans

The Approved/Rejected/Pending Report menu gives details of the status of loans applications that were handled during a particular period.

How to view the Approved/Rejected/Pending Loans

To view the approved/rejected/pending loans you go to Loans->Portfolio Reports->Approved/Rejected/Pending and a screen will be displayed as follows:

• Period From: Enter the date on which your report should start e.g., "01/01/2010" and in the "to" box enter the date on which the report should end, e.g., "27/01/2015".
• Approved Loan Applications: When this option is checked, you will view a report showing only the loans applications that were accepted during the selected period.
• Pending Loan Applications: When this option is checked, you will view a report showing the loans applications that are still waiting for approval for the selected period.
• Rejected Loan Applications: When this option is checked, you will view a report showing loan applications that have been rejected in the selected period.
• All Loan Applications: When this option is checked, you will view a report for all the loan application in the selected period.

• Report Currency: Select the currency in which the report should be displayed, e.g., "UGX".
• Branch Code: Select a branch for which you want to generate the report for or tick the For all option to have a report for all branches.
• Credit Officer:  Select a particular credit officer whom you want to generate a report about, this may be to see the number of Approved/Rejected/Pending loans that were handled by that officer selected or tick the For all option to have a report on all credit officers who have handled loans applications in the selected period.
• Loan Fund: From the drop down box, select a particular Loan Fund that you want to generate a report for. You will view a report showing the loan applications made against a particular fund for the selected period. The Loan Fund should have been set at System->Configuration->Funds and linked to the loan application at Loans->Loan Application. You can tick the For all option to view the report for all the loan funds available in the system.
• Geographical Area: From the drop down box, select a particular area/location/region for which you want to generate a report about. The areas should have been set as Support Files->Geographical Areas and linked to the loan application at Loans->Loan Application and linked to the loan application at Loans->Loan Application. You can tick the For all option to have the report on all geographical areas in the system.
• Loan Product: From the drop down box, select a loan product that you want to generate a report about. The loan product depends on what was set at System->Configuration->Products and linked to the loan application at Loans->Loan Application. You can tick the For all option to have the report on all loan products.
• Business Sector: From the drop down box, select a business sector for which you want to generate a report about. The business sector should have been set at Support files->Business Sector and linked to the loan application at Loans->Loan Application. You can tick the For all option to have a report of all sectors that were granted loans in the selected period.
• Cost Centre: From the drop down box, select the cost centre for which you want to generate a report about. The cost centre should have been set at Support files->Cost Centres and linked to the loan application at Loans->Loan Application. You can tick the For all option to have the report on all cost centres.

• Grouping/Order: Select from the drop down box the title by which the data in the report will be arranged. For example if you select "Client Name" then the report will be arranged according to the client name.
• Report Format: Select from the drop down box the sequence in which the column titles in your report will appear.
• Client Category 1: From the drop down box, select a client category for which you want to generate a report about. The category should have been set at Support files->Client Category 1 and linked to the loan application at Loans->Loan Application. You can tick the For all option to have the report of all categories. The same applies for Client Category 2 and Client Category 3.
• Loan Category 1: From the drop down box, select a loan category for which you want to generate a report about. The category should have been set at Support files->Loan Category 1 and linked to the loan application at Loans->Loan Application. You can tick the For all option to have the report of all categories. The same applies for Loan Category 2 and Loan Category 3.
• Guarantee Items: From the drop down box, select a guarantee item for which you want to generate a report about. The items should have been set at Support files->Loan Guarantee Items  and linked to the loan application at Loans->Loan Application. You can tick the For all option to have the report for all guarantee items.
• Additional filtering options? : This option is used to get a particular field or specification that you want. It helps you to narrow down the information that you need.
• Individual Loans Only: Select this option if the report to be generated is for only individual clients. 
• Group Loans Only: Select this option if the report to be generated is for only group clients. 
• All Loans: Select this option to generate the report for both Individual loans and Group Loan applications.

Select any other required additional options or use the default selections. For additional information on these options you can refer to the Portfolio Report Formats.

Click the OK button to generate the report that will look as follows:

Click on the Close button to exit.
